Over the years we have been asked to build everything from a teapot for a wonderful lady in Nairobi, to the 18th Century vaults of an underground cellar in Northern Laikipia. We have been influenced by the old stone hewn cathedrals of Europe, the amazing architecture of Florence, drystone builders and the skill of Brunelleschi. Together with the combination of beautiful green oak truss carpentry and natural lime plasters from the masters of tadalakt and marmarino, These old styles and methods have inspired the concept of contemporary relics and the homes we've built, hidden in the environment that Kenya and Tanzania has offered to so many, who look for the freedom to create a dream in the wilderness.
